The Third Annual Memory Mixer: A Party to End Alzheimer's, will be held in memory of our mother, Carla Hildebrand. After battling Alzheimer's disease for the past nine years, our mom passed away this September, at the young age of 60 years old.
This journey we have taken with our mother and her disease has had an incredible impact on our lives. We've witnessed first hand what Alzheimer's can do to a person and their loved ones, and we are determined to make a difference in the fight against it.
100% of all proceeds from the Memory Mixer will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association. Your dollars fuel the Alzheimer's Association's mission-related initiatives of care, support and research. In addition, your actions, both through donating and by attending the event, help to change the level of Alzheimer's awareness in your community.
The Memory Mixer has raised over $10,000 in its first two years, and we hope to match that amount at this year's event.
