A Note From the Hosts of the Evening:
The Fifth Annual Memory Mixer: A Party to End Alzheimer's is, once again, being held in honor of our mother, Carla Hildebrand. Our mom fought a ten year battle with Alzheimer's disease and passed away in September 2012, at the young age of 60 years old.
This journey we have taken with our mother and her disease has had an incredible impact on our lives. We've witnessed first hand what Alzheimer's can do to a person and their loved ones, and we are determined to make a difference in the fight against it.
100% of all proceeds from the Memory Mixer will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association.
Your dollars fuel the Alzheimer's Association's mission-related initiatives of care, support and research. In addition, your actions, both through donating and by attending the event, help to change the level of Alzheimer's awareness in your community.
The Memory Mixer has raised close to $40,000 in its first four years,
and we hope to raise an additional $17,000 at this year's event.
Thank you for joining us in the fight to end Alzheimer's.
